1. What inspires you to run?
I run for my mental health and to let go of stress. It’s something that’s just for me and I can escape from reality.
2. When did you start running?
I started running my senior year of high school. I signed up for a sprint triathlon that my mom was doing because I wanted to compete against her. Then I wanted to challenge myself more and signed up for my first half marathon shortly after.
3. Favorite post-race meal?
Either a breakfast burrito or burger & fries!
4. Favorite race.
Indy Mini Marathon. It was my first half marathon & there is always a great crowd. You even get to run on the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
5. Best advice to new runners.
Just keep running. It doesn’t matter the pace. Just get out and run.
6. One fun fact about you…
I’m an adrenaline junkie! I’ve gone skydiving, bungee jumping, canyoneering, high ropes courses… you name it, I’ve probably tried it!
